HEADLAMP USE ANALYSIS
One of the issues that arises in most nighttime vehicle
accidents is, "Were each vehicle's lights on at the time of the impact?"
In many cases, by analyzing the condition of the overall vehicle and the
condition of the light bulbs, we can determine if a particular light
was on or off at impact. This can be useful in determining why a driver did not
see a person or another object in the road. This analysis can also be used to
determine if a vehicle was not visible because its lights were not on.
