Bloomberg Consulting, Inc. is contacted frequently to reconstruct pedestrian and bicycle accidents to determine the answers to questions such as:

How fast was the vehicle traveling?

Was the pedestrian  stopped, walking, or running?

Which direction and how fast was the pedestrian or bicyclist moving?

If the vehicle had not been speeding, would the accident have occurred?

What was the perception and reaction time for the driver?

Could the driver have steered or braked in order to avoid the accident?

Were the vehicle's lights on?

Did the pedestrian or bicyclist dart out in front of the vehicle?

Was the bicyclist wearing a helmet?  Would a helmet have lessened the forces of the impact?
